The project is being conducted by The Illinois Institute of Technology and The Chicago Lighthouse, and we invite you to come learn from the researchers about an experimental device intended to restore visual perception for individuals who are blind. Learn about the intracortical visual prosthesis device, the study, expectations, possible risks and benefits, process and post implant requirements.

  • Explain the importance of early detection and benefits of diagnosis.
  • Identify tests and assessments for the diagnostic process.
  • Name the resources available through the Alzheimer's Association
